The Junagarh Fort:
Junagarh Fort is a magnificent structure in the city of Bikaner and is also initially called Chintamani. It was later renamed the Junagarh Old Fort in the 20th century. The fort was built in 1478 by Rao Bika during that time the fort was only a stone structure. Later on, the present structure came into existence on 17th February 1589. The fort is a piece of marvelous architecture that houses a large number of beautifully carved palaces, gardens, and balconies. As the Rajputi style architecture makes it rich in style. Also, the rich red sandstone, beautiful carvings, and intricate designs are very alluringly carved on the buildings. The monuments are very unique in themselves as they represent the dynasties of 16 rulers which consists of Mosques, Hindu temples, Buddhist monuments, Gothic architecture, and also the magnificent mansions.
Karni Mata temple:
Karni Mata temple is a temple also known as the ‘Nari Mata’ temple or ‘Rat temple’. It is basically 600 years old Temple located around 30 kilometers away from Bikaner in deshnok in Rajasthan. As the unique thing about the temple is that it is a house for 25000 black rats. They are even worshipped in the temple even though the food. Also, people travel from all over the world to pay their due respect to these Holy rats. There are various tales and legends relates to the temple history and the holy rats which live there. Lalgarh Palace:
Lalgarh Palace Rajasthani Palace is located in the beautiful city Bikaner. It was constructed for the Maharaja of Bikaner Maharaja Ganga Singh between 1902 and 1926.
